Nice Korean restaurant located on Lonsdale St. Had tasty and filling meals and were reasonably priced. Staff were quick with service and friendly. Ordered: Garlic soy fried chicken ½ serve: $23 (5/5) - Approximately 6 large pieces of boneless fried chicken covered in a beautiful soy garlic sauce, and a handful of leafy greens on the side. Reccomend this dish. Beef bugolgi: $21.90 (5/5) - The flavours in the dish were delicious, came with a side of kimchi and rice. Overall, would go back to this restaurant again and reccomend this place to others.

Ample seating on a Friday night. Simple but core Korean dishes including fried chicken, tteokbokki, bulgogi, and a variety of hot pots. Free kimchi and pickled radish sides, slightly on the sweeter end. Would recommend the sweet and spicy chicken, sweetness is just right. (FYI not wheelchair friendly - small step out the front of the shop.)

Hopefully, you’ll be able to separate the real reviews from the ones bought with a soft drink. We ordered Turnip Beef Rib soup (the reason why we came here), BBQ short ribs, A Scotch Steak and a bowl of rice. All coming to $115. After about 5 minutes, the male manager told us that we couldn’t order BBQ a la carte and that we must choose a set. He cancelled our original order on his tablet. We reluctantly chose the set that had beef ribs and the scotch steak. We had to choose an included soup so we ordered the soybean one because both my husband and I don’t like Kimchi. Then he said that he couldn’t cancel the Turnup Beef Rib soup because they already made it. Nobody makes beef rib soup in 5 minutes! What he means is that they dished it out and he wasn’t willing to put it back into the pot! We were served this strange corn and cheese concoction which neither our daughter or I liked. The beef rib soup came but they ran out of rice at that very minute. We’re meant to eat this soup with rice. Then, the BBQ tray came and the Kim chi soup. I said to the waitress that we didn’t order Kimchi soup. She apologized and smiled, and said they already made it. What kinda of restaurant forces you to take wrong orders? Especially when you didn’t even want their two set options of soup in the first place. My husband was so hungry that he ate the corn cheese concoction while we waited for them to cook rice. In the end, we ate exactly what we had first ordered: Turnip Beef Rib Soup, BBQ beef ribs, a very, very fatty Scotch steak, and one bowl of rice. We asked to takeaway the Kimchi soup and extra bowl of rice included in the set which our daughter thought she might have the next day. Of course, it’s still in the fridge untouched. We paid $167 (or $52 more) for unwanted Kimchi soup, cheese corn, an extra bowl of rice and get this - they tell us to order a takeaway box on the tablet to pay for a box! There are literally hundreds of Korean BBQs all over Melbourne. And we’re going to discover others…we suggest you do the same and learn from our mistake!
